Kathryn Zuverink, M.Ed, LPC

Biography
Kathryn Zuverink, M.Ed, LPC came to the Department of Psychology & Counselor Education at Aquinas as an adjunct professor in the fall of 2018. She holds a Master of Education in Community Counseling from The University of North Texas, where she also obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She has worked in both private practice and community agency settings with adults and children. Having seen the ins and outs of mental health treatment, she discovered her passion for developing healthy, creative therapists who can serve their clients well. She currently owns a group therapy practice in the Grand Rapids area, and when she isn't supervising counselors, she also provides play therapy for young children, counseling for adolescents and young adults, focusing on trauma treatment.
When Katie isn't working, you can likely find her painting, eating, reading, and camping with her family.
