Graduates should arrive at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew at 9:30 a.m.

Parking at the Cathedral
Parking is available in the Cathedral parking lot or the Catholic Information Center parking lot. (map)

Arrival Time
Graduates can check in starting at 12:30 p.m. at the west entrance of Alksnis which is accessed by going through Mayfield Lot (4). All graduates must check in by 1:30 p.m.

Doors Open
For accessibility seating, the doors to Sturrus open at 12:30 p.m. For general admission, the doors open at 1:00 p.m.

Graduate Check-in
Inside Alksnis, graduates will get a card that has their name printed on it. DO NOT LOSE OR WRITE ON THIS CARD. Keep this card with you at all times because it is used to have your name announced as you cross the stage. Graduates will line up in alphabetical order by degree of Associate, Bachelor, and Master on the Alksnis track and will be led in procession outside of Alksnis through the Mayfield lot and around to Sturrus’ front entry where they will continue to process into Coach Bo gymnasium.

Academic Celebrations After Commencement
This is new this year, and faculty and staff are invited. You can celebrate with graduates and their families after the ceremony on Saturday. Aquinas is providing light snacks and refreshments at four locations. These areas will be open between 3 to 5 p.m. You may choose to attend any celebration and visit as many as you wish.

  • Humanities & Arts: AMC Kretschmer Lobby
  • Sciences: Albertus Hall 110, Atrium
  • Business: Academic Building, 2nd Floor Lounge
