Kristi Kern, DO
Team Physician
Dr. Kern earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and did her family/osteopathic manipulative medicine residency and sports medicine fellowship at Metro Health Hospital. She is a team physician for Aquinas College and covers local professional teams and athletic events. Dr. Kern is an avid sports enthusiast, having participated in basketball and track in college.

Franki White, MS, ATC, AT
Franki White is the Sports Medicine Coordinator at Metro Health – University of Michigan Health. During race season, she works to coordinate medical coverage for various events in the Grand Rapids community as well as providing athletic training services. Franki obtained her bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Michigan State University and went on to complete a graduate assistantship at Eastern Kentucky University, earning her master’s degree while working with Division I college athletes. Outside of the office/training room, Franki finds joy in spending time with her growing family, running and working out, and coming up with new projects around the house to drive her husband crazy.
