Student Employment

All student employment opportunities are on the Aquinas College campus.

Student Worker Pay Plan
Student workers who are paid hourly will receive at least the state minimum wage. Select student worker jobs requiring job-related training, special competency, student leadership, third-shift work or hazardous work may be eligible for a higher rate of pay. Some student jobs, as approved by Human Resources, will be paid via a stipend instead of an hourly rate.

  • Send the department a Job Application (PDF).
  • Departments schedule interviews and extend job offers.

After the Job Offer

Supervisors must submit the Student Employment Information Form. Note: No student may work until HR provides approval to the manager.

Students must complete the following:

  • Complete new employee paperwork, including tax forms and Section One of the I-9 Form after receiving instructions via email. (The email will be from a DO NOT REPLY email address.)
  • Before starting work, deliver completed GR Tax Form and I-9 verification documents to Aquinas Human Resources (Holmdene, 2nd Floor). Review what original documents are acceptable for the I-9 Form. Copies or pictures of the documents will not be accepted. Note: Students may not work until they have met with HR and provided the required documentation.
