Spiritual, Health and Mental Wellbeing

We recognize that the pandemic and resulting uncertainty and change can be difficult. These circumstances can cause a great deal of stress and anxiety, especially over time. We encourage you to practice self-care as well as care for your loved ones and your neighbors. Employees and students who may need support can reach out to the following resources.

In case of a mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Campus Ministry​

  • Campus Ministry staff are available for virtual pastoral care and spiritual companionship.
  • Our Campus Chaplains are available to talk with any faculty member, staff member or student who would like to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation or for spiritual counsel. Contact Fr. Stan Drongowski at sad004@aquinas.edu or Fr. Bob Keller at rk003@aquinas.edu to make an appointment.

  • For urgent needs, please contact Campus Safety at (616) 632-2462 for assistance in contacting the Counselor On-Call.​

  • The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Stay Well program (Michigan.gov/StayWell) offers a COVID-19 hotline, free Headspace web service, free 24/7 confidential counseling hotline and other resources.
