Career Services at Aquinas College

Employers

The goal of the career services office is to build productive, long-term relationships with employers.  We are eager to help you fulfill your talent needs and meet your professional goals for all types of opportunities including internships, entry-level, and advanced positions.  Here are some of our best practices for how to build a presence on campus:

Request a Recruiter Table

Employers can request to host a recruiter table on campus from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm in our student cafeteria. There is a $10 fee for campus recruiting. The fee covers the reservation and an all you can eat buffet in our cafeteria. Please make requests two weeks in advance to assure that we can accommodate the space. We will provide the table and space but all other materials must be provided by the recruiter. To request a table please fill out the form. If you have any questions, please call us at 616-632-2126 or email Ramil Collier at rxc001@aquinas.edu.

Post a job/internship"handshake" logo
Aquinas College almost exclusively posts jobs and internships using the Handshake portal.  Employers can post jobs and internships once and reach several partner schools simultaneously. Best of all, Handshake is FREE to employers.  If you have questions, please give us a call at 616-632-2126 or contact us.

Post a non-degree position (Dog sitting, child care, etc.)

Please fill out the online form. Advantage Center staff will review your request and post it on our Students page for the weekly update. Please contact us at 616-632-2126 or careerservices@aquinas.eduif you have any questions.

Host an AQ Intern
Since 1972, the Aquinas Internship Program has been well respected among employers, both locally and nationally. Internships are mutually beneficial for employers and students. Internships may be taken for credit or certificate.  Students completing an internship for credit will register for the Internship Course, further developing their vocational and professional paths through reflective writing and meaningful “real-world” assignments.

Each student and their mentor will meet with the internship director for an on-site evaluation to ensure students are meeting their learning goals. Visit the FAQs for more details.
