The Cost of Attendance (COA) is an estimate of the educational expenses for an academic year.  The COA includes both direct and indirect costs.  Direct costs are those that are billed to the student by the college, typically including tuition/fees, and housing and food costs (if applicable).  Indirect costs include other expenses that may be incurred by the student while attending.
