Traditional Undergraduate Transfer Students
How many of my credits can transfer?
Community College: Up to 90 credits.
4-Year College: We do not cap the number of credits. From the 120 credits needed to receive your
Bachelor's degree, at least 30 need to be from Aquinas. Your admissions counselor
will run an audit for you, since the exact number depends on your academic program.

Will I still graduate in four years?
Classes are weighted differently between the academic programs, so we get you in front of a dedicated faculty member before you enroll. That way you can ask any questions about the program and see your graduation plan.
Academics and Internships
An Aquinas education creates well-rounded individuals prepared to achieve their goals. As a liberal arts college, we focus not only on great careers and internships but also on the foundation for a life that never stops pursuing knowledge. Our graduates are critical thinkers, leaders, and service-focused.
How much financial aid do I qualify for?
At Aquinas, transfer students are automatically considered for generous merit scholarships based on GPA. In addition, the Aquinas College Assurance Program provides eligible transfer students from low-income families with full tuition, including madatory fees.
We work with our students so they take on less debt in four years than they earn in their first year of work. The average net cost at Aquinas is about $4k below the average you'd pay elsewhere.
We highly encourage all students to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to see if they qualify for additional federal and state aid.
