Preparing Racially-diverse Educators Program (PREP)

teacher and children doing crafts There is a critical shortage of early childhood teachers of color, and great demand in our community for educators who more accurately reflect the population of their classrooms. Funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Aquinas College and the Early Learning Neighborhood Collaborative are seeking candidates for a hybrid, cohort program that will strengthen conditions in which vulnerable children have an equal opportunity to succeed. 

  • Tuition and book costs will be fully funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation
  • Program can be completed in 16-18 months
  • Classes meet just two days a week with additional on-site field hours
  • Bachelor's degree required for application
