Biography

Dr. Susan English, Dean of the School of Education, first joined the college as an adjunct instructor for the CIS department. She was later appointed to a full-time faculty position and received tenure working in the field of educational technology. She earned her undergraduate degree and teacher certification in elementary education with endorsements in Language Arts and Bilingual/ESL Education from Calvin College; trade school certification in programming and systems analysis from Key5 Institute, her M.A.T. degree from Calvin College, and her Ph.D. from Capella University. Her areas of expertise include educational technology, online teaching and learning, accreditation, strategic planning, institutional research, evaluation, and assessment. Dr. English has been with the college since 1994.
