Dear Aquinas College Community,
We are pleased to share that the Presidential Search Prospectus that was developed in partnership with the campus community and our combined efforts to recruit candidates, has attracted a robust pool of more than 30 applicants. The Search Committee members independently reviewed the candidates and then met this past week to select those who would go on for preliminary semifinalist interviews. There are 10 strong candidates who are being asked to participate in the next round.
The semifinalist interviews will take place virtually during the month of March. From these candidates, the Search Committee plans to recommend three candidates to the Board of Trustees. For the finalist phase of the search, the Board of Trustees will determine the best approach for interviews which will take place in April. Following that process, the Board of Trustees will make the final selection for the next President of Aquinas College before the end of the academic year.
