student headshot Theresa Micallef, Zero Waste Intern
Theresa Micallef is a senior at Aquinas College pursuing a major in Sustainable Business. Because of her interest in waste and other environmental impacts from operating a hospital, she plans to complete a masters program in hospital administration after graduating from Aquinas. Theresa is currently the Secretary for the Students Striving for Sustainability club and is a leader on the Aquinas Women's Lacrosse team. In her free time, she enjoys coffee shops, exploring and traveling with family, friends and her dogs.

Malory Maletic is a senior at Aquinas pursuing a major in Sustainable Business. While her tasks vary widely, Malory is primarily responsible for collecting data for Aquinas College's carbon footprint to submit to the American College and University Presidents' Climate Commitment. Malory also serves as the President for Students Striving for Sustainability, and loves sharing her passion for sustainability with others in the Grand Rapids community. Malory has a special interest in sustainable food systems and environmental justice.

Emmanuel Ibarra ("Manny") is a junior at Aquinas College pursuing a major in Sustainable Business. He primarily is involved with Zero waste on campus and looks to help connect sustainability with athletics. Manny is a member of the Aquinas Men’s Soccer team and serves as a Zero Waste Guru with a particular interest in engaging commuters. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, listening to music, hiking, coffee shops, art, and spending time with friends.
