Would you like to hone your writing skills at an ecumenical writing workshop this summer? Would you like your writing considered for a $5,000 literary prize?
Scriptoria is an interfaith writing workshop that invites writers to grow.
From 20 to 24, in Grand Rapids, participants will receive industry-level feedback and writing instruction through the lens of faith.
Scriptoria is a collaboration with Aquinas College, Calvin University and Cornerstone University professors, led by Newbery-winner Gary Schmidt. Other speakers include Linda Nemec Foster, Dan Mancilla, Hugh Cook, Patrice Gopo, L. S. Klatt, Robert Hudson, Nikki Grimes, Vinita Hampton Wright, and more.
Midweek, writers will gather for an outdoor barbecue at the Schmidt farm.
