Biography

Professor Olive teaches introductory and intermediate corporate finance as an adjunct. Mr. Olive serves as President & CEO of Crystal Flash, Inc. and has prior experience leading turn-arounds/transformations as CEO of two other West Michigan-based businesses. Mr. Olive started his career in public accounting and advanced through financial management development roles within The Procter & Gamble Company and Campbell Soup Company before serving in CFO and CEO roles within middle-market companies. Mr. Olive earned a BSBA summa cum laude from Drake University (1985) and a Master of Management with distinction at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University (1987). He has completed the professional certification examinations as a CPA, CMA and CTP (currently inactive) and is a member of NACD and PDA.
