Elizabeth was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is a graduate of Aquinas College. After graduating from Aquinas, she received her Masters degree from Central Michigan University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from Wayne State University, with a focus on women’s, American, and world history. Classes taught by Professor Chamberlain include Women in American History, American History, and World History; her research interests include women religious in the Catholic Church and the history of domestic and sexual violence towards women in the United States. When she's not reading a history book, she enjoys running, gardening, or spending time with her husband, children, and three grandchildren, as well as working in her barn with my many pets, including her three miniature donkeys, dog, and cat.
