Aquinas College Interim President Stephen Germic issued the following statement on the passing of Beatrice ‘Bea’ Idema, long-time Saints supporter and friend of the College.
“Aquinas College joins the West Michigan community in mourning the loss of Beatrice ‘Bea’ Idema. It is with a heart of immense gratitude that we celebrate her full life and devotion to philanthropy. Bea and her late husband, Bill, generously supported Aquinas College for many years. Their investment in scholarships and student success will forever have an impact on our students and campus. On behalf of the Aquinas community, we extend our deepest sympathies to Bea's family and loved ones.”
