It's Time to discover

In a world shaped by migration, trade, and cultural exchange, understanding how systems and stories connect across borders matters. At Aquinas, our hands-on programs make all the difference in the world—because there are just some things you can’t learn from a textbook. Our dedicated professors will challenge you to see outside of your own cultural context, to wrestle with global challenges firsthand, and see how history, politics, economics, and faith intersect on a worldwide stage. And when you’re ready, you can take that first step confidently, knowing that we’ve sent students abroad for more than 40 years and have fostered a global community just waiting to welcome you.

International Studies
In this ever-changing and dynamic international world, International Studies is growing as an essential field of inquiry. Students will apply writing, reading, and critical thinking skills to address significant issues in a global context, completing independent research.

World Languages
Our integrated program of language learning incorporates all of the four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. Students learn to use the language in a communicative, interactive environment within the classroom.

Global Studies news
Anna is a widely beloved member of the Aquinas community, and she is every bit as kind as she is diligent. Her story at Aquinas is one of thoughtfulness and heart, traits that run through every chapter of her story, shaping her into the person she is today. Eric Budd – who graduated from Aquinas College in 2021 with a Secondary Education, Social Studies degree – recently recounted his journey as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Montana, Bulgaria. For fifty years, Aquinas students and faculty have traveled a small Irish village called Tully Cross. Students, faculty and alumni took on the task of combining a selection of works written and created there into the book Where We Left Our Last Few Words: 50 Years in Tully Cross.
