The 2020-21 FAFSA will be available for the 2020-21 academic year on 10/1/19. You will need to enter 2018 income and tax data for you and your parents (if applicable). For added convenience, you can use the IRS data retrieval tool to automatically import your tax information into your FAFSA from the IRS website. The State of Michigan's FAFSA priority aid deadline is March 1st. If you file your 2020-21 FAFSA after March 1st, 2020, then you may lose out on free scholarships and grants.
