Saturn
Saturn ♄
Saturn, named after the Roman god of harvests, is the sixth planet in the solar system and is approximately 891 million miles (9.54 Astronomical Units) from the sun. A day on Saturn lasts about 10.7 hours, and one year on Saturn takes 10,759 Earth days, around 29.5 Earth years. Saturn, like Jupiter, is a gas giant and therefore lacks a true surface. Gravity on Saturn is similar to the gravity on Earth. Saturn is most iconic for its seven rings that surround the planet. These are made up of billions of pieces of rocks and chunks of ice. It is theorized that these chunks are made of broken comets, asteroids, and moons that were destroyed by Saturn's gravity.
