Aquinas College recently announced the addition of five new specializations to its Master of Management program, expanding opportunities for graduate students to gain expertise in fields shaping the future of work. Beginning in January 2026, students can tailor their management degree with specializations in Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Cybersecurity, Finance, and Healthcare Administration—all designed to prepare values-driven leaders for a rapidly evolving economy.
The core Master of Management program consists of 30 credits (10 courses) and can be completed in as few as 18 months. The new specializations are optional additions to the core program. While they may extend the time required to complete the degree, they provide specialized knowledge that gives graduates a competitive advantage in the job market. Each specialization offers four courses in the chosen subject area, of which three are required.
Rooted in Aquinas College’s distinctive approach to graduate business education, the Master of Management program offers a broader view of business, equipping students with the skills to manage both people and numbers. The program emphasizes strategic thinking, organizational culture, and human motivation, ensuring graduates are ready to lead with purpose in any sector.
The new specializations align Aquinas’ mission-driven management education with emerging workforce needs in Michigan and beyond. The Master of Management program combines academic rigor with flexibility and personal attention. Students benefit from small class sizes, individualized advising, and a supportive learning community rooted in Aquinas’ Dominican values of reflection, service, and ethical leadership.
Grand Rapids continues to emerge as a hub for innovation and growth across multiple industries, from advanced manufacturing and financial services to technology and healthcare. The city’s expanding tech and healthcare sectors, in particular, have created new demand for professionals who understand both data-driven decision-making and the human dimensions of leadership. Aquinas College’s expanded Master of Management program positions graduates to meet this demand—empowering them to lead in organizations that are driving West Michigan’s next era of economic development.
“Our goal was to create specializations that reflect where business is headed,” said Linda Hagan, Ph.D., Professor and Director of the Graduate Management Program. “We are committed to preparing leaders who can think critically, act ethically, and manage effectively in a world of constant change.”
