There are plenty of options for viewers of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, whether it's ice hockey, downhill skiing, snowboarding, short track skating or figure skating. One of the most appealing to many is the figure skating competition, not only for the athletic feats, but the spectacular and, sometimes, outrageous costumes donned by the skaters.

Early on in Olympic competition there was some criticism about some of the outfits worn by Olympic competitors. 18-year-old Aquinas College freshman Lynzee Broussard, who has skated competitively for more than ten years, was among several local skaters interviewed by The Grand Rapids Press on that very topic - skaters costuming.
