The Fourth Annual Earthfest at Aquinas College will be held on Saturday April 26 from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Cook Carriage House on the Aquinas campus. The event is free and open to the public. Free T-shirts and saplings will be given to the first 100 people. Parking is available in the Jarecki Center for Advanced Learning parking lot, 159 Woodward Lane, S.E.

The Aquinas College club, Students against the Violation of the Environment (S.A.V.E.), is having a celebration to educate and involve the community about issues concerning the planet. Local organizations, a business and Aquinas Clubs will have tables set up with information about their cause(s), how it relates to the environment and why it is important to the community. Local organizations attending include the Sierra Club, Land Conservatory of West Michigan and Hemp Goods. Aquinas Clubs taking part include the Social Action Committee (S.A.C.), the Aquinas College Democrats, the Geography and Environmental Studies Club and Habitat for Humanity.

The afternoon schedule includes and environmental talk and local bands.
