GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN - The Aquinas College Campus Ministry Department presents the 19th Annual St. Thomas Aquinas Lecture on Thursday, January 29 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Wege Student Center Ballroom. The speaker this year is Father Gregory Heille, O.P., D.Min. He will begin his lecture, Thomas Aquinas Meets You Tube, with the showing of the You Tube video "Learning to Change/Changing to Learn." His lecture will explore how a pre-enlightenment notion of experience-based approaches to learning can add quality to life in a way that Dominican colleges ought to instinctively to understand.

Heille served as chaplain for Dominican Chapel at Marywood and was founder and program director for Dominican Center at Marywood. Heille, an authority on preaching as a Christian practice, serves as vice president and academic dean at Aquinas Institute of Theology, St. Louis, Missouri. He is a Dominican Friar of the Dominican Central Province of St. Albert the Great. He currently serves as president of the Catholic Association of Teacher in Homiletics. Heille is lead editor of the book "Theology of Preaching: Essays on Vision and Mission in the Pulpit."

A free light lunch will be served before the lecture from 11:45 to 12:30 p.m. Please RSVP to Dee Wagner, secretary to the dean of student affairs, (616) 632-2171 or e-mail wagnedee@aquinas.edu.
