Minnesota-born, I have fallen in love with western Michigan. Hey, there are few mosquitos. As a Dominican friar since 1978 and ordained a priest in 1983, I have worked in campus ministries for 20 years, but I am still very much a learner. I came to AQ in the midst of COVID (July 2020), so I feel like a newbee here. I love walking the campus to get to my office in Albertus, to go to the chapel, or to get a cup of coffee and encounter students, faculty, staff and administrators. I’ll stop and chat. I look forward to meeting you.

Born in Alpena, Sr. Mary Ann received bachelor's and master's degrees from Aquinas College, a second master's degree in pastoral studies from Loyola University in Chicago, and a certificate in biblical studies from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. Joey Dearduff, M.Div.
Campus Minister - Service Coordinator

Email: dearduffj@aquinas.edu
Office: Academic Building 309B
Joey Dearduff, an alumnus of Spring Arbor University (B.A. in Pastoral Ministry, '17) and of Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div., '21), joins the AQ Campus Ministry team with over a decade of ministry, parachurch, and higher education experience. Having served Aquinas College most recently by coordinating campus visits through the Admissions Department, Joey's approach to student faith formation is informed not just by interfaith experiences within pastoral student leadership roles but also by previous responsibilities within the outdoor recreation and coffee industries. As such, when Joey is not connecting with students, he can be found enjoying a cup of black coffee, spending time in the garden, watching a film, playing a board game, or otherwise adventuring both near and far with his wife, son, and dog.
Fr. Stan Drongowski, O.P. was the College Chaplain from 2013 - 2023. Shortly after retiring, Fr. Stan passed away unexpectedly on July 9, 2023.CONTACT INFO
