Park Bench

The gift of a park bench is a thoughtful and lasting way to honor someone and his or her relationship to Aquinas College. Whether you’re remembering a loved one, honoring a graduating senior, celebrating an anniversary or birthday, or paying tribute to a favorite professor, your gift will be a lasting tribute that enhances the beauty and experience of the Aquinas campus.

Gifts of $4,000 provide for the purchase, installation and upkeep of a weatherproof bench and personalized plaque. Once installed, Aquinas will provide a map of the bench location, photo and certificate recognizing its placement. We would be delighted to work with you on organizing a ceremony to commemorate the placement of the bench. If for any reason a bench has to be moved, the donor will be informed.

Stock Options / Appreciated Securities

Gifts of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate, etc., that have appreciated in value since their purchase continue to be an attractive gift for many donors. Please consult your tax attorney or tax preparer for the deductibility of your gift. Circumstances will vary with income and other factors.

Gifts of stock are sold upon receipt. You will be credited for the value of the stock on the date is sale made.

Pledges / Letter of Intent

Your gift can be set up to meet your giving needs. Payment installments are available for your convenience whether yearly, semi-annually, quarterly or monthly. Pledge reminders will be sent to you as per your instructions.

A letter acknowledging your gift will be mailed to you within a week of receipt.

Matching Gifts

A matching gift is an employer-sponsored program to encourage philanthropy among company employees in support of their chosen charity or organization. The matching gift program enables many donors to increase the impact of their contributions as most companies will match dollar for dollar, and some will double or triple match employee gifts.
