Financial Aid and Scholarships

All degree candidates who wish to apply for financial assistance must be enrolled on at least a half-time basis or six (6) credit hours per semester. Financial aid is renewable as long as the student maintains satisfactory academic progress toward a degree and meets all other aid eligibility criteria. Students are encouraged to complete the free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  The school code for Aquinas College is 002239.  For more information regarding financial aid, please call the Financial Aid office at (616) 632-2893 or visit their webpage

Federal Stafford Loan Programs

Eligible students may borrow up to certain stipulated amounts per academic year.  Payments on student loans begin six (6) months after the student ceases to be enrolled in classes on at least a half-time basis.  The federal government will pay the interest on the subsidized loan while the student is enrolled in the program.  Unsubsidized loans are also available.  Application materials may be obtained at a local bank or lending institution.
