Aquinas College is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM)


Aquinas is home to two pipe organs, a 2017 three-manual Allen Bravura L333 organ, the 210 seat Kretschmer Recital Hall with two 9-foot concert grand pianos - Steinway and Baldwin - on stage, a recording studio, the Performing Arts Center, and 27 additional grand, upright and electronic pianos from top makers.


Faculty members have received numerous honors including “Teacher of the Year,” “Composer of the Year,” two ArtPrize Jazz Awards for original compositions, silver medalist at the American Traditions Singing Competition, and multiple Grand Awards for musical theatre roles in West Michigan.


Graduates are teachers in K-12 and higher ed, composers, church music directors, choir conductors, opera and jazz performers, collaborative pianists, music therapists, directors of arts programs, and recording artists.


Students have had internships with Art Prize, the Cathedral of Saint Andrew, Michigan Opera Theatre, the Basilica of Saint Adalbert, Witte Travel, The State Theatre, Live Nation and others.
