Payment Plans: Frequently Asked Questions

How can I view my bill?
Aquinas utilizes e-billing.  No paper bills are sent out, in keeping with our commitment to sustainability.
The first e-mail will be sent July 15. After the initial billing statement notification, students will receive a monthly reminder (around the 15th of each month) to review their account for any new charges that may have occurred, if they have a balance with Aquinas. This reminder will occur even if a payment plan is set up. Students can view their bill by logging into Self Service. Billing statements can be found under the financial tab.

Where do I go to pay in full or set up a payment plan?

  • Students: Log into Self Service, click the Financial tab and click on "make a payment" at the top left.
  • For parents or others that don’t have access to the student’s account: Visit our Payment Plan page to make a one-time payment or set up a payment plan. A student ID number must be entered to complete any payments.

There are three options for paying online: e-check, debit card, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover). We no longer accept American Express. There is a 2.55% fee on debit or credit card transactions (minimum charge $1) and a $1.50 transaction fee on e-check.

When can I pay in full?
Students/Parents/Guardians have the option to pay in full by the first day of the fall semester.

What is the cost to enroll in a payment plan?
A non-refundable fee of $50 will be assessed for each semester plan set up.

Does Official Payments offer the ability to schedule automatic payments?
Yes. You have the flexibility to schedule each individual payment any time during the month before the due date.

When is my payment due and what happens if I am late or miss a payment?
Payment Plan monthly payments are due the 28th of each month. There will be a charge of $20 for each late, declined or missed payment.

Can I continue to make payments to the Student Accounts office directly?
Yes, we accept, cash, check or money orders as well as credit cards. There is a fee for using a debit or credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We no longer accept American Express.
