Aquinas College supports the use of research to advance knowledge. When research requires the use of human subjects, researchers must take efforts to protect their subjects. To ensure that this occurs, the College has established a policy for review of research involving human subjects, and an Institutional Review Board (IRB) to oversee this process for all research under the auspices of Aquinas College that includes human participants.
