Art at Aquinas College
The Art Department works to connect students with paraprofessional opportunities in the local and regional creative community. Paid and unpaid jobs and internships have included:
- Art institutions such as Frederik Meijer Gardens and GRAM
- Art nonprofit organizations such as Artists Creating Together, ArtPrize, and Festival of the Arts
- Fine Arts Galleries such as LaFontsee Galleries and Lions and Rabbits
- Video game design companies such as Finji
- Ceramics studios, print shops, design and marketing firms, educational institutions, and many more.
We value creative professional experience while students are in school and leverage the thriving and diverse west Michigan economy to establish relationships. We try to align students' sensibilities and goals with the countless options available in our area.
