GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, (November 15, 2001) - Aquinas Students for Life will be hosting Pro-life Awareness week from Monday, November 26 to Friday, November 29. When asked about Pro-life Awareness week Monica Tyler, Director of Student Support Services and Advisor of Aquinas Student for Life said, "Pro-life Awareness Week is an opportunity for Students for Life to educate the campus on life issues. From the very heart of the matter of abortion to the cold facts, pro-life awareness week strives to inform students and address concerns. Through discussions ranging from abortion to the ethical dilemmas of stem cell research. Students become better informed and begin to develop an educated stance on life issues."

On Monday, November 26 the week will kick off with an information table in the Academic Building lobby from 12:30-1:30 p.m. The table will present current information concerning the issues of life with a display on the process of fetal development. Also, there will be a series of pro-life awareness speakers from Tuesday, November 27 through Thursday, November 29 at 12:30 p.m. On Friday, November 30 at 12:30 Students for Life will meet at the crosses, which represent the lives lost each year through abortion, to pray the rosary for all those lives lost through abortion and for the thousands of lives that will never be the same.
