Dr. Kathy S. Kremer accepted her new role as Dean of Curriculum and transitioned into this position on July 15, 2013.

Dr. Kremer joined the Aquinas College faculty in 2007 and served as Associate Professor of Sociology as well as the chair of the sociology and psychology departments. She has held many leadership positions at Aquinas and has been an active, engaged member of the faculty.

Before coming to Aquinas, she was Assistant Professor of Community Sociology at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Rural Sociology from Iowa State University, her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science from Minnesota State University - Mankato.

The primary role of the Dean of Curriculum is ensuring the quality and relevance of the academic programs at Aquinas College. In collaboration with faculty and administration, Dr. Kremer will be investigating and launching new academic programs, enhancing current programs, promoting innovation and community engagement while fostering the College’s Catholic Dominican identity and preserving AQ's commitment to sustainability.

Dr. Kremer will also oversee International Programs, the Women’s Study Center and the career development curriculum.
