(Grand Rapids, Mich.) - The Aquinas College Art Gallery will feature works from multiple Aquinas artists during the Spring 2015 semester.

Patrick Maguire: Between a Spot and Not So Familiar Place
Sunday, January 18 to Friday, February 13
Opening Reception: Sunday, January 18, 2 to 4 p.m.
Aquinas alumnus Patrick Maguire ‘11 has created paintings and installations that wander through the gravity of one’s presence from here to there, the known and unknown. Maguire’s works further explore a range of encapsulated mirages, to the stunning effect of a potent sunbeam. His works celebrate a harmony woven between skewed architectural frameworks and fusing visions.

Annual Student Art Show

Gallery Closed: March 7 to 15
An annual all-student, all-media, juried art show. Work displayed in this show has been created within the past year by current students for an Aquinas art course.

B.F.A. Exhibit

Opening Reception: Sunday, April 12, 2 to 4 p.m.
Gallery Closed: April 2 to 6
Senior show for Aquinas students graduating in 2015 with a bachelor in fine arts degree. Student names will be announced approx. one month before show opening.

All shows take place in the Aquinas College Art Gallery, which is located on the first floor of the Art and Music Center on Aquinas’ campus (1607 Robinson Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506).

Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday: 2 to 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted. For additional information, please visit aquinas.edu/art/gallery
